So determined to live, she'd crawl to the roots of death itself — little did she know, her enemy would cut her path.
In the mortal realm of Ashland, Siobhan Byrne is dying. With no known cure in the human lands, her only hope is to escape her imprisonment and venture to the immortal realm of Tiernall, to beg a dying wish from the sacred Tree of Souls.
To survive her journey in the perilous world of magic, she'll need the help of surly barman Rory McKenna—the infamous street fighter, reluctant vigilante, and the only fae this side of the barrier between worlds. With a poisoned bargain, Shiv traps her light wielding guard, and thus her protection. Together they will travel to Rory's ancestral homeland—the one Shiv has always dreamed of, and Rory has always evaded. What they don't expect, is the deadly prophecy that awakens with their arrival.
They will face warring clans, ruthless creatures, and long buried secrets that unravel their intertwined fates. As their hearts align, Shiv's health dwindles and the Soul Tree falls out of reach.
Shield of Grace is the thrilling first installment of The Relics of Tiernall series — a dark romantasy journey that shines with star crossed lovers, and grapples with the inevitability of death.
